Jane you are a bloody star! Look at how much money you have raised AND spread awareness of issues facing indigenous people. And look at all the books you read! The read-a-thon was a great chance to talk to the kids at Merri Creek about indigenous injustices. Kids recognise when something is unfair and have a strong motivation to do something about it. So thanks for giving us that chance. And yes – people love to encourage kids to read! But not so much adults? Barnaby book club loved being involved.
